Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow us to address you in connection with the construction of a new Orthodox Church by the name of “Holly Martyr St. Prokopii of Varna”, located at the intersection of Slivnica Bulevard and Otets Paisii Street. Being the first church under construction in the town of Varna in the last 100 years, it is unique in itself and will also include adjacent complex which will have spiritual, educational, social and charitable focus.

The complex will consist of a chapel, multi-purpose hall, nursery, iconography tutorial rooms and rooms for different social activities, library with free internet connection, gallery, soup kitchen and medical office. The inauguration ceremony was at 11th of November 2008 and was attended by His Eminence Kiril-Bishop of Varna and Veliki Preslav, the Mayor and the Chairman of the Municipality Council of Varna.

We would like to appeal to you as patriots and people who hold Varna dear to their hearts to express your commitment to this pious cause and become one with the contributors and real Bulgarians who bring into being the present and future of our city.

We believe that together we will build Varna’s new Orthodox Church, thus showing with our actions that we care to bring up spiritual values in children and young people, and all our neighbours living in beautiful seaside capital.
