The long-awaited dream of the people of Razdrad is on its way to become a reality – Razgrad will soon have a new Orthodox church!

The idea for the construction of a second temple in Razgrad dates from the 1930s, when land was donated for it and a committee was formed. Unfortunately, due to various reasons and the onset of the godless totalitarian regime this project did not see the light of day. The people of Razgrad, however, never forgot their wish to have a new Orthodox church in their rapidly growing town.

The church council of the temple, in observance of the regulations of the Statute of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church - the Bulgarian Patriarchy, calls upon all the patriotic citizens of Razgrad, as well as on the Razgrad citizens living in other parts of Bulgaria and the world to contribute for the success of this noble cause.
